ALS Adventure Challenge Leaders get MUDDY!
Four ALS Adventure Challenge Leaders participated in the Muddy Buddy race this Sunday Sept 23, 2007 at the Seymour Demo Forest. Lisa & Tamara raced together as a Female Team of 2 and Marc & Derek partnered up as Male Team of 2. Both teams had a blast and did great with Lisa and Tamara finishing 6th in their category and Derek and Marc finishing fourth over all! Fantastic work guys!
The race is a 10km route consisting of trail running and mountain biking with fun obstacles along the way. Both teams race at the same time but switch from running to biking throughout the course...and of course finish it all off with a splash in the mud pit!
