TEAM ALS AC/MOMAR hit the snow in the Final Yeti Race- March 8 at Cypress Mountain

It was a foggy drive up the mountain on Saturday morning but we were welcomed with of periods sunshine at the top. A little bit of fresh, wet snow made for a slippery but fun race. Race started at 10:00AM with Team ALS AC/MOMAR taking off with a strong start UP the mountain with Marc and Brian leading the pack. Awesome race route, mostly single track with quite an ascent for the first portion. Once we reached the warming hut at the top (2K mark) we were welcomed with an awesome, lengthy descent (which we practically slid down due to the slippery snow). Holly, Jacqueline, Tori and I crossed the finish line holding hands and were met by fellow team mates Marc and Brian for a team photo and lots of high fives! Everyone had tons of fun and looked forward to heading to the pub to share stories and of course enjoy a congratulatory beer! Looking forward to next year!
