EVERYONE can be a part of the Adventure- Volunteer Today!
Without our volunteers, this event would not be possible. From BBQ chefs to course marshals, race bag stuffers to event registration, we require over 50 volunteers per event! Your volunteer commitment can be as little as a couple hours or the entire weekend - there is a position for everyone!
The support and encouragement our participants receive from volunteers motivates them to “push their boundaries” and achieve their goals! Together we can make a difference in the lives of people living with ALS and provide hope for a cure.
All race day volunteers receive an ALS Adventure Challenge T-shirts, lunch and a chance to win great race day prizing!
We're looking to fill a variety of volunteer positions for our 2008 events, including:
Race Day Volunteers:- Event set up/ take down
- Course Marshalling
- Registration/ timing
- Manning check points/ mystery events
- Merchandise sale/ Silent auction
- Food Preparation / BBQ Cooks
- Safety boats (kayak and motorized)
- Safety / First Aid
- Course sweepers
- Kidz Zone/ Mini-Race
